About the Foundation
Founded in 2013, the Steve Smith Foundation was established as a way for the NFL wide receiver to serve the community.
Originally established to confront the impact of domestic violence, the Foundation’s mission has evolved to address the broader, ongoing needs of mental health and wellness. That evolution reflects a simple truth: the trauma of violence does not end when the crisis does, and sustainable healing requires long-term, compassionate mental health and wellness support.

Charlotte Community Health Clinic (CCHC) Express Care, in partnership with the Steve Smith Foundation offers same-day services for patients looking for immediate access to primary care services. The Clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, as well as those without insurance.
