Founded in 2013, the Steve Smith Foundation was established as a way for the NFL wide receiver to serve his community.
Originally established to confront the impact of domestic violence, the Foundation’s mission has evolved to address the broader, ongoing needs of mental health. This evolution reflects a simple truth: sustainable societalhealing requires long-term, accessible and compassionate mental health and wellness services and support.

The Smith Family Behavioral Health Urgent Care, operated by Daymark Recovery Services, is a designated intervention and treatment center where community members with urgent primary behavioral health needs receive triage, care and referrals.

Charlotte Community Health Clinic (CCHC) Express Care offers same-day services for patients that are looking for immediate access to primary care services. The Clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, as well as those without insurance.
